The dialogue is weak and the science has gone from incredulous to silly.. Signal thinks big, takes chances and has enough arresting scenes to stand apart from the science fiction films of late.. "Under the Skin" is original to the highest degree. Is it a great film? I'm not convinced. Are there moments of greatness in it? Quite a few..
