Attack the Block (2011) Film Abspielen

The real joy of the movie for me, and why I recommend it despite everything, was watching Spielberg salute Kubrick, his friend and mentor, while at the same time defy him.. A clever blend of sci-fi and comedy, which pits toothy furball space invaders against young South London thugs.. The most puzzling, trippiest piece of pop fantasy of Spielberg's career.. TRON: Legacy proves once again that movies can be incubators for exciting technological and F/X advances... while leaving our need for narra...
1478964

Paul - Ein Alien auf der Flucht (2011) Beobachten Film

It's more than occasionally cute, if less than consistently clever.. One of those "control technology or it will control you" sermons that nonetheless enlists the usual heap of technically advanced special effects.. Remember when paycheck-hungry actors were accused of phoning in a performance? Johnny Depp spins that for millennials in Transcendence by Skpying in his performance.. This is not quite enough of a conceit to sustain a full-length movie -- Paul would have made a terrific short film --...
1092026

Planet der Affen - Revolution (2014) Download Film

For dramatic verve and emotional nuance, apes trounce people, hands down, and the movie suffers badly from the mismatch; all traces of finesse are trampled by the bombast of the climax.. This just might be the most engrossing, the smartest and the most daring "Apes" movie ever put on film.. Reeves directs with great dynamism, and his scenes of masses of apes swinging through treetops and swarming through San Francisco streets are rousingly staged.. What's striking about this new film is that it ...
2103281

While Mr. Nobody contains some truly moving scenes, it eventually starts to try your concentration when you suspect all the space/time continuum shuffling may never become more than the sum of its parts.. After Earth (2013) Streaming-

It's just a somewhat mundane coming-of-age story with a terribly miscast lead.. The truly sad thing is, this wouldn't be a bad story if you stripped away all the sci-fi flash and psychobabble.. The tone is dire, the visuals dark and doomy, the pace epically slow. Like so many sequels, it's everything the first film aspired not to be..
