"Snowpiercer" warms the heart, but doesn't penetrate it.. It's the latest in the long line of movies made from novels set in a dystopian future where a young person has heroism thrust upon their slim shoulders...Yet, taken on its own, it's a well-made and effectively told morality tale.. The best action film of 2014, and probably the best film, period.. Any thematic audacity is snuffed out by action sequences that you can now buy at Dollar General.. It's like one of those bad "Star Trek" episode...
